Careful thought has been given to our rooms at Church Gate to ensure that you have a relaxing and very comfortable stay. Both the double and twin rooms have an ensuite tiled bathroom with underfloor heating.

Top quality bedlinen and finest sheets are used and beds are normally made up with goosedown duvets and pillows. Please advise us if you'd prefer blankets or synthetic bedding. The double has a kingsize bed and the twin room has fabulous ViSpring mattresses and can be made up as a super kingsize double.

The oak floored rooms have flat screen TVs, digital radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and a bathrobe. Fresh flowers are on the tables. There's also a tray with a choice of tea/herbal teas, coffee, hot chocolate, homemade biscuits and mineral water.

Bathrooms have heated towel rails, fluffy towels and wonderful soap, shower/bath gel and lotion made from the purest products specially for Church Gate by Kemp Aromatherapy. There is also a good magnifying mirror. The double room has a shower, the twin room a bath with shower over.

Downstairs there's a beautiful sitting room with TV, an assortment of family games, books, guidebooks and maps and fresh coffee and tea available. There's also a small outside terrace which gets the evening sunshine. Please tell us if you are short of anything! We'd like you to feel this is a home from home.

Breakfast is served between 7.30am-9.30am either inside by the aga or out in the garden if it’s sunny. There’s plenty of choice and often something special!

Take advantage of our tennis court, but please bring your own racquets and balls. There may even be some bikes which you can borrow!

We ask that rooms are vacated by 10.30am and look forward to seeing you after 4.30pm.
