Careful thought has been given to our rooms at Church Gate to ensure that you have a relaxing and very comfortable stay. In the cottage, both the double and the twin rooms have an ensuite tiled bathroom with underfloor heating.
Top quality bedlinen and beds are normally made up with goosedown duvets and the best pillows. Please advise us in advance if you'd prefer blankets or synthetic bedding.
The rooms have flat screen TVs and a tray with a choice of teas and coffee, biscuits and mineral water and we like to put in freshly cut flowers from the garden.
Bathrooms have heated towel rails, fluffy towels and wonderful soap, shower/bath gel, shampoo and lotion made from the purest products specially for Church Gate.
Downstairs there's a beautiful flagstone sitting room with TV, an assortment of family games, books, guides and maps and fresh coffee and tea available. There's also a small outside terrace which gets the evening sunshine. Please tell us if you are short of anything! We'd like you to feel this is a home from home.
You can find an iron and board available and there's WiFi in the main house. In the kitchen area there's a fridge available which can be turned on but we do request that you do not use the kitchen for any cooking.
Please note that the bedrooms are not enormous - this is a cottage. They can be taken separately or you can take the cottage as a whole
In the main house, there are two further rooms - a small double (with great shower ensuite and small balcony) and a twin room with large bathroom adjacent with both a bath and separate shower. These are available for both the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival and occasionally at other times, especially during the high season in July and August. Please ask if you cannot see availability.
Breakfast is served between 8am-9.30am (Mon-Sat) and on Sundays between 8.30-10am either inside by the aga in the main house or out in the garden if it's sunny. There's plenty of choice and often something special.
Take advantage of our tennis court, but please bring your own racquets and balls. There may even be some bikes which you can borrow!
We ask that rooms are vacated by 10.30am (Mon-Sat) and 11am on Sundays and look forward to seeing you after 4.30pm.
As many guests come for peace and quiet, no children under 16 - exception if you take both rooms in the cottage.

Continental breakfast with fresh fruit and yoghurt brought to the cottage for you to enjoy at leisure. Candlelit dinner for two by arrangement. Organise a massage/beauty treatment. Spoil yourselves and make it special! Late departure 12 noon
